Each year during the Annual Scientific Session, the Officers, Trustees, and Governors invite the candidates who have satisfied the requirements for Fellowship, and who represent the future of the College and of cardiology, to participate in the annual Convocation ceremony. This prestigious event honors self discipline and dedication to high standards of care given to patients and to the cardiovascular profession. The ACC Convocation is a memorable event for the Fellows, their family members, friends and colleagues.
Convocation also welcomes and honor a new generation of CCAs who have advanced their status to the designation of Associate of the American College of Cardiology (A.A.C.C.).
