ACC Mission

The mission of the American College of Cardiology is to advocate for quality cardiovascular care—through education, research promotion, development and application of standards and guidelines—and to influence health care policy.

ACC Core Values

  • Professionalism: The interests of patients are primary.
  • Knowledge: The College must promote growth, dissemination and application of knowledge about cardiovascular medicine.

        ACC Environmental Scanning Report

        Each year ACC leadership evaluates the outside environment of the College in an effort to better inform strategy development. The product of this evaluation is a comprehensive, 150-plus page report outlining 44 trends within the health care marketplace that provide a lens into the industry for analysis and strategic decision-making. Information contained within the report is of value to anyone looking to better understand the current health care marketplace and maximize effectiveness in the change efforts within the industry landscape.
