COURSE OVERVIEW/STATEMENT OF NEED
The practice of cardiovascular medicine and surgery are in a stage of rapid change. Cardiovascular specialists and healthcare executives need to enhance their knowledge of the evolving healthcare environment to ensure the clinical and business success of new practice models and clinical care program designs. The Cardiovascular Summit will provide attendees with the knowledge, leadership skills and tools necessary to positively affect change in their practice environment whether it is academic, practice based or involves a new integrated model. Additionally, the course offers attendees ample opportunities to network with colleagues and faculty and to learn from the experiences of their peers.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended for:
- Academic and practice-based cardiologists, surgeons, vascular specialists and pediatric and adult congenital cardiologists
- Practice administrators
- Nurses and physician assistants
- Executives and physicians from newly integrated groups or practices on the verge of integration

GENERAL INFORMATION
Tuition
The registration tuition includes continental breakfasts, refreshment breaks, lunches and course materials.
Cancellations
Cancellation, substitution or transfer to another course is allowed if written notification is received four weeks before a scheduled course. A full refund minus a $250 processing fee will be given for written notifications received fewer than four weeks before the first day of the course. No refund will be given for no-shows.
In the unlikely event that the course is canceled, the College will refund the registration tuition in full but is not responsible for any travel or hotel costs you may incur.
ACCF reserves the right to cancel courses in the unlikely event of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a course is canceled or postponed, ACCF will refund registration tuition but cannot be held responsible for other costs or expenses, including cancellation/change penalties assessed by airlines, travel agencies or hotels.
