Overview
This Meeting on Demand™ Program is designed to increase your competence in diagnosing, managing, and appropriately referring adult patients with congenital heart disease for surgical intervention or to an adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) center. Drs. Regina Lantin-Hermosa and Craig Broberg will help you identify “simple” and more complex congenital heart defects in the adult patient, describe the physiologic consequences of these defects, and more!

Learner Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, the learner should be able to:
- Identify “simple” and more complex congenital heart defects in the adult patient.
- Describe the physiologic consequences of these congenital heart defects and their surgical palliation, and anticipate sequelae of the lesion or its repair.
- Diagnose congenital heart defects using various imaging techniques; tailor the imaging study to identify long-term sequelae of each lesion or its surgical palliation.
- Manage patients with congenital heart defects using current American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association guidelines including appropriate referral to an ACHD center.
