Overview
Using highlights from the 43rd Annual New York Cardiovascular Symposium: Major Topics in Cardiology Today, this Meeting on Demand™ Program starts with Dr. Gregg Stone’s description of new insights into the pathophysiology of ACS, specifically drawing upon the recently published PROSPECT trial. Dr. Deepak Bhatt then discusses clinical issues related to the contemporary management of NSTE-ACS, including invasive versus conservative management and the tradeoff between ischemia and bleeding. The program concludes with an overview of state-of-the-art strategies for the management of STEMI by Dr. Bernard Gersh.
