Overview

This Meeting on Demand™ Program will review mesenteric ischemia, from physiology and diagnosis to medical and interventional management. The discussions will focus on best medical management and the role of interventions, such as surgery or stent.

Learner Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, the learner should be able to:

  • Describe the various presentations of mesenteric ischemia.
  • Discuss the best tests to order for diagnosing mesenteric artery stenosis and mesenteric ischemia.
  • Define the role of stents and surgery.

Method of Participation and Claiming Credit
