The Convergence of Type 2 Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease initiative offers many opportunities for assessment and feedback, which allow us to continually improve the education offerings, thus enhancing your participation in CME/CE activities that will lead to improvements in both your practice and among your patients. Educational Delivery Formats Multiple educational interventions are a hallmark of this initiative, grounded by four guiding principles: - Utilization of adult learning principles and effective CME/CE formats to enhance participation
- Offer a variety of high-quality, evidence-based learning opportunities that are sustainable throughout and beyond the initiative's term of credit
- Integration of continuous assessment and feedback to update content as needed in real time
- Provision of effective educational tools and strategies for use with patients that encourage them to be active partners in their care.
