Upon completion of this program, attendees should be able to—
- Discuss the latest information regarding the prognostic implications of cardiac imaging studies and their impact on patient management decisions to achieve better patient outcomes
- Examine the latest protocols and common artifacts in cardiac SPECT and PET imaging and demonstrate improved skills in semi-quantitative image interpretation to lead to more accurate and clinical effective reporting
- Compare and contrast the relative strengths and weaknesses of cardiac CT, cardiac MRI and nuclear cardiology for prevention, diagnosis and guiding management decisions
- Describe the comparative radiation doses to patients while ensuring doses are in accordance with appropriate use criteria guidelines
