The Risk Management Institute is designed to increase patient safety and reduce medical professional liability claims risks. The Risk Management Institute (RMI) aims to provide cardiovascular practices with patient safety education they can trust. To that end, RMI’s educational resources are created specifically for cardiovascular specialists, by cardiovascular specialists.
The College is partnering with medical professional liability (MPL) insurance companies and the Physician Insurers Association of America (PIAA) to review closed cardiovascular claims and identify trends. This information will be leveraged to provide practices with important information that can help improve patient safety and mitigate national cardiovascular liability and lower insurance premiums.
Subscribers who complete the online educational activities and are insured by a participating strategic MPL partner will receive a 5% discount on their annual insurance premium. For more information, or to order, email or call ACC at 800-253-4636, x5603.
